2022 Schirru Arkimia Bianco
Nuragus, an age-old white grape variety native to Sardinia, evokes the rich local flavours of the island's cuisine. It produces a juice that rivals that of white blends from Northern Rhone.
Due to its limited production, it is mostly consumed domestically... but we've been able to secure a tiny amount.
It is believed that the Phoenicians brought this grape to Sardinia over 3,000 years ago, making it a part of a rich heritage.
Tasting Note: Clean & flinty yet laced with aromatics & spice. The perfect mid-summer aperitif for those hazy evenings in the garden.
