2022 Château La Mascaronne Rosé
An exceptional rosé, it derives its quality not only from the grape varieties that comprise its blend but also from the soils on which the estate’s grapevines are planted.
Located in Côtes-de-Provence, the vineyard is a single sixty hectare plot that's enclosed by oaks and olives. Only grapes sourced from this site make it into the wine. The unique stone-walled terraces have been certified 'Agriculture Biologique' since 2016 and benefit from a wealth of biodiversity.
The Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah and Vermentino grapes, typical Provence varieties, are harvested at the height of ripeness. Harvest takes place in the morning and is carried out entirely by hand, so that only the most qualitative berries are used.
Tasting Note: This rosé exhibits elegant and delicate aromas of peach, apricot, and white flowers. Citrus fruits deliver a refreshing finish that culminates in an intense, fruity bouquet of apricot.
