2022 Courtault Michelet Bourgogne Epineuil
Epineuil is a small village located near the town of Tonnerre, 20 km far east from Chablis.
“Côte de Grisey” is a very nice slope facing south east, with a wonderful limestone terroir ; the place is very steep so that the soil is very thin and roots of the vines grow directly into the limestone, giving lots of characters to the wine.
Tasting Note: Ruby appearance Nose: Nice nose with aromas of small, red fruits, mostly cherry Palate: Excellent body structure, taste and aromas of fruit, accompanied by soft tannins, giving the wine a beautiful balance.
