This bright, energetic Syrah from young Collines Rhôdaniennes vines bursts with blackberry, smoked meat and a hint of salami. It’s a benchmark value, blending Philippe’s Rhône pedigree with Vincent’s modern precision.

This is a Crozes-style Syrah at a fraction of the price, packed with vibrant fruit, fine tannins, and refreshing acidity that make it perfect for everyday Rhône lovers.

Winemaking: 100% Syrah hand-harvested, destemmed, 10-day maceration in stainless steel, fermented wild, then aged 8 months in used French oak barrels for suppleness and silky tannins.

Pairing Suggestions: Grilled lamb skewers with rosemary, charcuterie boards, or a simple black olive tapenade crostini.

Tasting Note: Vivid purple, aromas of blackberries and smoked bacon, smooth mouthfeel, soft fine tannins and a crisp finish.

Domaine Philippe & Vincent Jaboulet

Domaine Philippe & Vincent Jaboulet is a six-generation family estate perched at the northern edge of the Northern Rhône, where Philippe brought 30 years’ production expertise from Paul Jaboulet Aîné and Vincent added his Burgundian and Australian oenology training. Together they farm 30 ha across Crozes-Hermitage, Hermitage, Cornas and IGP Collines Rhôdaniennes, all certified HVE 3 with zero pesticides and active biodiversity measures (such as bat boxes, insect hotels and cover crops) to honour the terroir.

Their modern cellar blends hands-on tradition (whole-bunch fermentation, gentle pigeage) with precise temperature control and barrel work. From lush, fruit-driven Syrah to rare 100% Roussanne Hermitage Blanc, each cuvée showcases old vines, granite and loess soils, and the Jaboulets’ unwavering commitment to purity, freshness and age-worthy structure.
