2023 Chateau Lauduc Classic Bordeaux Superieur Magnum
The 60 hectares of Château Lauduc are situated on the highest hillsides in the commune of Tresses—ten kilometers from the center of Bordeaux—characterized by clay-limestone and gravelly soils.
With a full-southern exposure, the estate is planted—in keeping with tradition—with noble grape varieties: primarily Merlot (70%), which provides a mellow quality; Cabernet Sauvignon (20%) for body; and Cabernet Franc (8%) for finesse; rounded out by 1% Malbec and 1% Petit Verdot.
Tasting Note: A must-have from Château Lauduc, the Classic is a highly appreciated wine in many Bordeaux restaurants. Its versatility allows it to pair both with a charcuterie board and a flank steak, making it an excellent choice for everyday enjoyment. Its blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon provides both structure and roundness, offering a modern and well-balanced Bordeaux.
