2023 Domaine Benoit Badoz Poulsard "Grains de Poulsard"
Grains de Poulsard is the estate's brand, identifying the Poulsard grape variety, traditionally vinified without additives or sulphur, like a red wine with a short skin maceration. It is, moreover, the "wine for all occasions" of the Jura region, as it expresses the clay-limestone terroir in the purest Jura tradition.
Tasting Note: This wine is distinguished by its light ruby colour with amber highlights, as well as its delicate fruitiness and a smooth finish. A thirst-quenching and delicious wine.
Pairing Suggestion: This is an ideal wine for an entire meal, easily replacing both red and white wines. Enjoyed in any season, it offers a particularly original and appreciated pairing with Morteau sausage, raclette, cured meats, grilled fish and meats, white meats, smoked fish, and all exotic dishes with delicate spices.
