Gerald Vallée's estate is mainly dedicated to the red grape variety, Cabernet Franc. How ever here a few bunches of Sauvignon Blanc have slipped through the net.

Grown in sandy soils and fermented in stainless steel then kept on fine lees for 8 months prior to bottling.

Tasting Note: This is a citrus infused, herb layered style of Loire white showing chalky minerality and great length.

Domaine de la Cotelleraie

Domaine de la Cotelleraie is a wine estate that has belonged to the Vallée family for several generations. Gerald Vallée was immersed in the world of winemaking from childhood. His father, Claude Vallée—who began working at the age of 14—instilled in him a drive for excellence and a wealth of know-how, which he, in turn, aims to pass on to his children, should they wish to carry it forward. While the estate comprised 12 hectares of vines alongside asparagus and fruit orchards back in 1957 (when his father started out), today it spans 27 hectares of vineyards. Since taking over in 1997, he has therefore become the first generation to dedicate itself exclusively to wine.
