2023 Domaine Fournillon Chablis
Tucked away in the quiet village of Bernouil, just north-east of Chablis, Domaine Fournillon is a 23-hectare family estate where precision and terroir speak louder than volume. Producing Chablis accounts for a small fraction of their output, making each bottle a coveted expression of this storied corner of Burgundy.
Fermented in stainless steel under strict temperature control and aged on its lees for 12 months, this Chablis is a study in purity — cool, focused, and unmistakably of its place.
On the nose, expect that signature Chablis minerality: flinty and precise, layered with fresh green apple, lemon zest, and a whisper of white blossom. The palate is generously rounded for the appellation, with bright citrus acidity lifting a long, elegant finish. Authentic Burgundian character at a price that rarely exists for quality of this calibre.
