2023 Domaine La Lôyane Lirac Rouge Cuvée Elie
"La Lôyane" is the historic name of the locality where the estate was built. The name is thought to refer to a territory or a den once inhabited by wolves in ancient times.
The vines are 40 to 60 years old. 100% vinification in demi muids followed by 12 months maturation in the same vessels before bottling.
Tasting Note: A nose marked by small black fruits, blackberry jam, garrigue, and leather. Ample, rich, dense, and velvety on the palate, great freshness with tannins that are prominent yet fine and supple.
