2023 Gambellara 'Note di Vino' Rosé Pinot Grigio

Cantina di Gambellara was the first cooperative winery in the province of Vicenza, established in 1947 on the foundations of the previous co-op, Enopolio di Gambellara, which was founded in 1920. It’s located in the eponymous village of Gambellara on the border with Verona, in the final stretch of the Lessini Mountains at around 250-500 metres above sea level. The gentle landscape is covered with vines and is characterised by a lush valley with several streams and an extinct volcano with black basalts.

The colour is obtained through brief skin contact or careful pressing of the lightly coloured Pinot Grigio grapes, followed by cool stainless-steel fermentation to preserve fresh fruit characters and vibrant acidity. This technique yields a dry, aromatic rosé with lively purity.

Tasting Note: This rosé shows a delicate pale pink hue with fresh aromas of red berry, wild strawberry, and a touch of citrus blossom. The palate is crisp and dry with juicy strawberry and raspberry fruit, bright acidity, and a clean, refreshing finish for an easy-drinking style rosé.
