2024 Domaine Belleville Rully La Crée
"La Crée" refers to a stony slope, a stony plot of land and serves as a reminder of a former quarry. Situated to the east of the village of Rully, the "La Crée" Climat was disassociated from the "La Pucelle" Climat, classed as a Premier Cru.
Very stony clay-limestone terroir situated below the Premier Cru "La Pucelle". The Climat consists of 5 subplots of varying ages and orientations. Care: The form that this Climat takes results in varying pruning methods and specific harvest dates for each subplot. Age: 25 years on average
Tasting Note: Open and pleasant toasted and buttery aromas. On the palate, a touch of liveliness, this wine is opulent and rich with toasted bread on the finish. Nice complexity.
