2024 Giuseppe Cortese Langhe Bianco Scapulin
After fermentation the wine spends 10 months, partially in small French oak barrels (225 l), only 40% new ones, partially in clay amphora and partially in stainless steel followed by 6 months in the bottle before being released for sale.
Tasting Note: The mingling of the 3 different components makes the wine distinguishable in style and balance: the stainless steel supports the freshness, the amphora part underlines the mineral notes and the wooden part reinforces the body; it result in a wine of great expression and potential of evolution!
