Winemaking: Fresh fruit flavour is the order of the day so the team uses gentle whole-bunch pressing followed by low-temperature fermentation. There's gentle stirring of the lees to build additional body and texture. Early bottling preserves the vibrant character.

Pairing Suggestions: Delightful on the patio with tomatoes and mozzarella, stuffed zucchini flowers, perhaps a grilled red mullet and new potatoes, or with a crème brûlée and strawberries.

Tasting Note: A bright pink wine, whose lively bouquet reveals delicate citrus nuances. On the palate, it offers a vibrant fruity selection, blending grapefruit and lychee, enhanced by an elegant freshness that will delight your senses with every tasting.

Vignerons de Maury

From the unique soils of Cotes de Roussillon in Southwest France, bordered by the Mediterranean and Pyrenees. A combination of manly schist, with black marl, these nutrient thin soils encourage deep root growth resulting in intense, complex and perfumed wines. Lying in the northern foothills of the Pyrenees and just 30km inland from the Mediterranean, the tiny village of Maury boasts one of the oldest appellations in France, being established in 1936 and has cooperative viticulture at its heart. The delicious ‘Tribu’ range of three wines demonstrate how small family farmers have collaborated successfully to produce the highest quality wine possible. We are immensely proud of these Tribu wines, named after the Catalan for ‘tribe’. All the names of the farmers who have grown the grapes for these wines are on the labels.
