2025 Apostolidi Vidi Anno Lofos

Lofos single vineyard is located at a low altitude of about 60 meters above sea level and at a distance of only 150-200 meters from the river Nestos (Maritza). The solid limestone and the many shells create mineral, spicy and deep flavoured wines.

Hand-picking of the grapes, followed by meticulous selection at the winery, destemming, crushing and pressing. Settling of the juice followed by spontaneous wild alcoholic fermentation. Five months ageing on the fine lees with frequent stirring - 50% egg shaped concrete tanks, 40% in 500l used French oak barrels and 10% amphora.

Tasting Note: Complex aromas of peach, apricots and white raspberries. An impressive Vidiano that combines strength, freshness and structure. A very elegant balance with good acidity, mild vanilla, melon and spice notes, creamy texture and long after taste.
