Barrel-Top Tasting with Madre Mezcal - Saturday 19th August

Come and explore one of the world's up-and-coming spirits with this FREE tasting run by Madre Mezcal. 

Tequila's mineral, smoky, Oaxacan cousin, Mezcal has been made in Mexico since before the arrival of the conquistadors the early 1500s. Unlike Tequila, mezcal can be made from a plethora of different agave plants, usually aged for a minimum of 3 years in the ground, but often much, much longer. 

We'll have two expressions from the artisanal Madre Mezcal, whose traditional production methods result in a pure expression of the sun-soaked earth of the Oaxaca Hills. Not to mention a very delicious tipple...
