Caviste Taste & Learn: Discovering Piedmont - Thursday 9th February

What is Barolo wine?  Why such fuss about Asti?  Is Barbera a grape or a place?  Let us put your Piedmont into place.

With a focus on the wines from Cascina Vendore and Cantine Povero we shall explore the vineyards, history and production around the towns of Alba and Asti.  Hosted live from Piedmont by the elegant and passionate Lucrezia Povero.

We shall taste wines made from Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, Arneis, Gavi and Moscato. 

Your ticket includes:

- Welcome drink

- Tutored tasting through the wines with mixed charcuterie board and artisan breads

- Simple hot supper, prepared by the Caviste chef and designed to match the wines (with a larger glass of wine)

- Homemade sweet nibble to finish
