LAGG Single Malt is distilled and matured on a low lying stretch of coast near the village of Kilmory at the south end of the Isle of Arran. The agricultural heartland of the island, distilling has been present in this tight-knit community for hundreds of years, but perhaps not entirely legallly…

This modern, characterful Lagg Single Malt differs from it’s brother in the north by continuing the rich tradition of peated whisky making in this part of Arran. Made using Concerto Barley and water from the Arran borehole, the Kilmory Edition is peated to a punchy 50PPM, double distilled in beautiful copper pot stills right on the shore, and matured in first-fill Bourbon barrels.

Tasting note from the distillery:

Nose: Heather smoke and charred citrus

Palate: An initial burst of fruit gives way to subtle bonfire smoke and a long lasting finish

Finish: Citrus, smoke, and vanilla
