NV Barbadillo Solear Pasada en Rama Manzanilla - Saca de Verano (Half)

A unique Manzanilla style which is bottled four times a year using the Rama method, minimal filtration straight from the cask, with each season directly affecting that particular Manzanilla. Saca de Verano means the summer bottling, which means the wines are more oxidative then the spring and autumnal bottling. Serve slightly chilled.

Tasting Notes: A richer, more oxidative Manzanilla Pasada than the standard, with deep complexity and a maritime character. An intense nose of apple and quince with a symphony of sea spray, chamomile, and toasted bread supporting. The palate has a salinity  accompanied by a citrus acidy, and a creamy nuttiness leads to a long, persistent, and complex finish.

Serving suggestions:  This pleasantly dry Manzanilla is the perfect accompaniment to tapas, appetizers and a range of starters such us Spanish cured ham, artichokes, asparagus, cold and hot soups, shellfish, salmon and herrings
