“The MV Rosé Fût de Chêne shows all of the richness and gamy intensity of Pinot Noir with a few years of age, along with the added complexity of 30% reserve wines that round out the blend. Rich and vinous in the glass, with remarkable nuance, the Rosé Fût de Chêne is a total knock-out. I especially like the juxtaposition of Pinot intensity with a sense of airiness and grace that is impossible to miss. The Rosé is built on a base of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay to which 6% of still Pinot is added. It is an incredibly versatile Champagne that it sure to please. I loved it. Dosage is 6 grams per liter.”
