Nice brilliant yellow colour with orange tints. It tastes firm and dry and has tremendous power, length and minerality. This wine has a hard-edged, apricot-scented nose that feels as sharp as a serrated knife. Very good length in the mouth with an intense note of salty-mineralic limestone. A very well-structured wine with balance.

Their different vineyard sites, across Saulheim (Reinhessen, Germany), are on some of the best limestone bases around. This gives each of the wines a wonderfully mineral character that is further developed and enhanced in the winery.
