2018 Finca San Martin Crianza Rioja
100% Tempranillo grapes selected from a vineyard in Torre de Oña, in the foothills of Sierra de Cantabria. This terroir, predominantly limestone and well-drained, produces grapes with excellent aromatic complexity and outstanding freshness.
Aged in both new American oak barrels (60%) and third-fill French oak barrels (40%) where it matured for 16 months.
Tasting Note: Cranberries, redcurrants and blackberries envelop balsamic aromas of patisserie, cocoa, freshly-ground coffee, cinnamon and liquorice. It stands out on the palate for its balanced freshness and structure, with supple tannins and a smooth, rounded, classic Rioja Alavesa finish.
