2019 Domaine Philippe & Vincent Jaboulet Crozes-Hermitage Rouge
The father and son team have put a lot of time and energy into using bio-diverse methods. This involves preserving the natural state of the land, whether at the heart of the vineyards or across their property. They feel obliged to protect the ecosystem and control the water usage, in a total respect for nature.
A small production, Crozes-Hermitage selected only from vines that are at least 30 years old. Aged in oak for 12 months to soften the tannins, leaving them silky and adding to the wine's structure.
Tasting Note: A deep and wild Syrah, conveying dark fruits and a chocolate twist.
