From the 2019 vintage that was rated as "Excellent" as the vineyard benefitted from wonderful weather conditions. The resulting wines stand out for their bright colour, structure and silky mouthfeel, as well as for their notable ageing potential.

100% Tempranillo from Torre de Oña in the Sierra de Cantabria foothills characterises the terroir, with a limestone base for great drainage.

Grapes were meticulously harvested by hand and delivered to the winery in boxes where the delicate 'Bordelaise' technique of destemming and crushing before initiating fermentation - both alcoholic and malolactic - took place.

From January 2020, ageing commenced in carefully chosen American and French second-use oak barrels for a period of 16 months. Bottled in September 2021.

Tasting Note: Alluring ruby red colour that's pristine and luminous. Exquisite and abundant aromas of wild strawberries, redcurrant, forest floor notes, delectable pastry, chocolate, coffee grounds, and a hint of white pepper. Supple texture and a subtle freshness, culminating in ripe red fruit and a pinch of spice.
