2019 Domaine Philippe & Vincent Jaboulet Cornas
This is one of purest expressions of Syrah available.
Grown on the shallow, south-east facing, granite soil, slopes of Cornas. The vineyard is roughly 450m above sea level which lends a delightful freshness to the wine.
The vinification is in oak barrels followed by a further 2 years in barrel prior to release.
