Bright, clear garnet colour, with floral notes – roses and violets – strawberries and red cherries on the nose. Tangy, red cherry and raspberry fruit on the palate – long and fresh and succulent, with mouth wateringly delicious, crunchy red fruit acid. This wine is all about purity and a silky texture.

Made from selected fruit from a vineyard on the Old Moorooduc Road, owned by Hugh and Isabelle Robinson.

Hand harvested - 100% destemmed - 100% wild yeast primary fermentation - 20 days total on skins - natural malolactic fermentation in barrel - 15 months in French oak, 20% new - no fining and no filtration.

"Nice detail, balance and line, with spicy liquorice, anise and clove to the dark berry and cherry fruit on the nose and palate. Fleshier, sweeter plum seamlessly slides in on the mid-palate, well supported by grainy, spicy tannins and balanced acidity.
