2021 Jeanneret Rosé Gastronomique

£20.00

Tasting Note: A striking and rather beautiful ruby-garnet colour, with a lovely nose of spice, redcurrant, strawberry, raspberry and rose petals. It also has a rather intriguing savoury note reminiscent of Parma ham. On the palate its full-bodied and creamy with flavours of redcurrant, cherry and strawberry. And there’s a touch of spice and a hint of savouriness. It’s really harmonious and beautifully balanced. Very smooth and luxurious.

Origin: Clare Valley, Australia

Jeanneret Wines

Jeanneret Wines celebrates the beauty of the Golden Ratio and the Nautilus symbol, echoing the philosophy of their ancestor, the legendary architect Le Corbusier (Charles Jeanneret). Just as Le Corbusier sought balance and perfection, Jeanneret's vineyards and winemaking process reflect this harmony of form and function.

Founded in 1992 by the Jeanneret family, their passion for wine quickly grew from a hobby to a thriving business. Led by self-taught winemaker Ben Jeanneret, they produce wines full of flavour, best enjoyed with friends. Ben's talent has earned Jeanneret a Five Star Winery rating and the title of 'Ten Dark Horses' by Halliday.

Jeanneret's vineyards, located in the Armagh Valley of Clare, are managed with an organic philosophy to preserve the vines' integrity. For over three decades, their 60 acres have yielded exceptional Shiraz, Cabernet, and Malbec. They also collaborate with local grape growers to add depth and sophistication to their wines, ensuring each vintage is unique.
