2022 Chateau D'Aqueria Tavel Rosé
The sandy terroir of Château d'Aqueria is conducive to the production of great rosé wines with the perfect balance between freshness and maturity.
Six grape varieties, black and white, contribute to its complexity: Grenache noir, Syrah and Mourvèdre give it exceptional colour and tannic support while Clairette, Bourboulenc and Cinsault skilfully complete the blend by offering a generous aromatic palette as well as a final note on freshness.
A delightful family-owned Château just outside the village of Tavel, with 70 hectares of vines, all surrounding the Château.
Tasting Note: An intense, ruby-hued brilliance shines out from the glass. The nose is opulent and intricate, offering scents of raspberry, wild strawberry, and pomegranate. A sturdy yet graceful structure opens up on the palate, where the red fruit and spice notes become fully expressed and linger until the conclusion.
