The Mantonegro vines grow in the coldest areas by the dry stone walls of the Superna Valley. The grapes is pressed cold and very fast, the yield is low because of it. Yeasts, selected by means of “pie de cuba”, are added to the must which ferments for 25 days at a very low temperature in order to maintain freshness and avoid malolactic fermentation.

Tasting Note: Straw yellow color with yellow trim. Its aroma is fruity, pineapple, pear and banana mixed with spicy notes of Mantonegro and sweet notes of candy. The palate is voluminous with a light saline character. Refreshing, complex, long and deep.

Bodega Son Vich de Superna

The Son Vich de Superna Winery is a family winery which uses traditional production methods.

It is located in Majorca, right in the heart of the Serra Tramuntana, one of four wine production areas in the world classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

Born in 2006 with a passion to make wines that are not only high quality, but also different from what was until then being made on the island, always fully respecting the natural environment. They use indigenous grape varietals such as Prensal, Manto Negro, and Gorgollassa, as well as international varietals Viognier, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Merlot.
