In our lovely corner of England, we are blessed to have the presence of many pioneers in English wine. While this may be a source of national pride for some, for us it poses a challenge as we cannot possibly list them all.
It is with great pleasure that we introduce Candover Brook, a producer situated in the lush landscape of Candover Valley, with 5Ha of vines only 25 minutes from our Newlyns shop.
Renowned winemaker Hervé Jestin follows a philosophy of minimal intervention and biodynamic practices, resulting in truly exceptional wines. The classic Champagne grape varieties are used, sourced directly from the region, as well as some Burgundian clones.
